Timberline Tool Rolls Out New Tracer-Lock System
New tools eliminate faulty tracer wire connections
KALISPELL, Montana. (October 23, 2009) Timberline's Tracer-Lock System provides a fast, economical, environmentally sealed solution for connecting 12 and 14 gauge buried tracer wire. The TRTW1 tool is designed for use in the trench while the long-handled TRTW5 is ideal for use in a keyhole excavation or tight working area. The Timberline Tracer-Lock System consists of a connector and an application tool each sold separately. This new system provides a permanent and more reliable electrical connection compared to other tracer wire connector products currently available. The Tracer Lock System installs in a single step with no wire stripping required. The patented tracer wire connector ensures that the tracer wires are permanently locked in place & will not pull out. This patented system will eliminate bad tracer wire connections and the additional costs associated with expensive rework in the field.
